    Allison Lee

    Directress / Montessori Specialist

    Allison is a qualified Montessori Teacher and Teacher Trainer in:

     

    NAMC Infant/Toddler & Early Childhood

    MCI Montessori Pedagogy (Birth-7)

    IMS Montessori Teacher Education

     

    With over 10 years of experience in education, she is an avid admirer of the Reggio Emilia Approach.

     

    She is passionate about integrating the best, most progressive techniques available in education into our curriculum.

    Ella Wightman

    School Counsellor/

    English Facilitator

    Ella Wightman is a Native English Teacher with over 15 years of English language teaching experience in Hong Kong, Mainland China, and Germany.

     

    Ella majored in Psychology and has a PGCE in Early Years from the University of Sunderland. Apart from earning her CELTA certificate in Hamburg, Ella is also an Independent Certified Instructor of the Baby Signs Program. She is also qualified to teach Kindermusik and Letterland Phonics and is a member of the Hong Kong Psychological Society.

     

    A mother of three, Ella is dedicated to helping children develop their overall skills using holistic approaches to education.

    Clara Chan

    Cantonese Facilitator

    Clara is an experienced kindergarten teacher, passionate in child care and support children's rights.

     

    She is a highly qualified Registered Kindergarten Teacher, Certified in First Aid, with a Bachelors in Education & Postgraduate Diploma in Education (Graduated with Distinction).

     

    She is keen to adapt the Montessori and Reggio philosophies into her teaching journey as these were a part of her study focus during her PGDE.

    Tina

    Putonghua Facilitator

    With a major in Chinese Linguistics and Literature, Tina also holds a Masters degree in Early Childhood Education from The Education University of Hong Kong. She has also passed the National Mandarin Test (Level 2) and is a qualified teacher of Putonghua. She hopes to help children reach their full potential through self-exploration.

     

     

    Yeliz Bulbul

    Classroom Facilitator / Marketing Assistant

    Originally from Turkey, Yeliz Bulbul

    moved to Hong Kong in 2016 with her family and is a mother of two teenagers. She has a Bachelor's Degree in Education majoring in Mathematics and 17 years of teaching experience.

     

    With her practical pedagogy, patience and dedication to teaching young children, she hopes to inspire children with her interactive music lessons and exciting stories.

    Yuki Yu

    Cantonese Facilitator

    Yuki is an experienced kindergarten teacher with four years of experience in early childhood education.
     
    She is a highly qualified Registered Kindergarten Teacher, with a Postgraduate Diploma in Early Childhood Education.
     
    She believes that children have their own thoughts and creativity at different ages. “Learning by doing” is a great way for children to develop practical skills and learn with experience. She hopes to build strong relationships and friendships with children here at Mulberry Tree.

    Vicky Wang

    Putonghua Facilitator

    Vicky is a Native Putonghua Facilitator with over two years of primary school and three years of childhood education of Putonghua language teaching experience in Hongkong.

     

    She has a Master of Arts degree in Economics. She also got a certificate in Putonghua teaching course from the Hong Kong University (Grade A) and passed the National Putonghua Proficiency Test (PSC, Level II, Grade A).

     

    She hopes to help children develop activities relevant to their immediate interests and needs. She also wants to promote social skills by helping children learn to understand and community their thoughts and feelings.

    Jessie Wen

    Putonghua Facilitator

    Jessie Wen is an experienced ECE educator who advocates child-centred approaches to teaching. She is a native Mandarin speaker who has earned a passing grade in the Putonghua Proficiency Test (First Class). Jessie also holds a Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education from the University Education of Hong Kong.

    Jessie is passionate about children’s development and with her loving and caring nature, she ensures that their social and emotional well-being is supported. She loves to observe children and believes that their confidence can grow when they are provided with a safe and secured environment.

    Cymie Shea

    Cantonese Facilitator

    Cymie Shea is our Cantonese facilitator. She has completed a comprehensive Early Childhood and Parenting Course, and she is committed to child development. As a mother of two, she has great enthusiasm for Early Childhood Education especially, in the Montessori and Reggio-Emilia approaches to learning.

     

    As a child’s companion, Cymie hopes to guide children in their learning journey, to nurture them into seeking positive experiences so that they grow up to be confident and independent young individuals.

    Harry

    Canine Facilitator

    Harry, named after "Harry Potter" is our resident canine. He is friendly and lovable, most often seen playing with the children during outdoor play time. He loves to eat, getting petted, and running around with his tongue out. He warmly invites you to come visit us and show him some love!

    Shelley

    Classroom Pet Facilitator

    Shelley, a red slider neck turtle is our newest class pet who joined us in 2018. She was given to us by a trusting family who has just relocated back to the UK. Our students take full responsibility over Shelley’s care which includes feeding her daily and giving her baths. Shelley enjoys taking walks in our outdoor area and she loves to sunbathe, too!
