With over 10 years of experience in education, she is an avid admirer of the Reggio Emilia Approach.
She is passionate about integrating the best, most progressive techniques available in education into our curriculum.
Clara is an experienced kindergarten teacher, passionate in child care and support children's rights.
She is a highly qualified Registered Kindergarten Teacher, Certified in First Aid, with a Bachelors in Education & Postgraduate Diploma in Education (Graduated with Distinction).
She is keen to adapt the Montessori and Reggio philosophies into her teaching journey as these were a part of her study focus during her PGDE.
Ella Wightman is a Native English Teacher with over 15 years of English language teaching experience in Hong Kong, Mainland China, and Germany.
A Psychology Major and a certified CELTA holder, Ella is also qualified to teach Kindermusik and Letterland Phonics. She is an Independent Certified Trainer (ICT) of the Baby Signs Program and a member of the Hong Kong Psychological Society.
A mother of three, Ella is dedicated to helping children develop their overall skills using holistic approaches to education.
Vivian Tsui is our full-time Cantonese facilitator. Vivian is an experienced kindergarten teacher, holds a Bachelor’s Degree (Honours) in Early Childhood Education and her specialised areas of study include health and well-being.
Vivian believes that all children have the opportunity to freely explore and learn at their own pace . She hopes to utilize Montessori and Reggio approaches to create a collaborative learning environment for children to reach their full potential.
Cantonese and Nature Facilitator
Hubert is a qualified registered kindergarten teacher with a Bachelors in social science, and currently studies a Master degree in Psychology (Education stream) at the City University of Hong Kong.
As a certified Circle Painting practitioner, Hubert believes art can be a way for children to think, to collaborate and to express. With an abundant resources from the Mother Nature, Hubert hopes to join with children to explore the beauty of colours, textures, lines and space in our surrounding environment.
With a major in Chinese Linguistics and Literature, Tina also holds a Masters degree in Early Childhood Education from The Education University of Hong Kong. She has also passed the National Mandarin Test (Level 2) and is a qualified teacher of Putonghua. She hopes to help children reach their full potential through self-exploration.
Outdoor Nature Leader
Originally from Belgium, Marnick moved to Hong Kong in 2013. In the past few years , he has been creating and leading experiential nature-based programs for young children. Marnick has completed the Level 3 practitioner training course through the Forest School Education in the UK and is a qualified Forest School Leader.
A certified Pediatric and Wilderness First Aid Provider, Marnick feels passionately about the great outdoors and believes that Mother Nature has a lot to provide if we learn to take good care of her from a young age. Convinced that nature offers one of the world’s best classrooms, Marnick is excited to share his knowledge and new experiences with the students of Mulberry Tree.
Milly is a qualified Teacher with a Bachelor’s of Education from The Education University of Hong Kong, with over 10 years of experience in Special Education and Music Therapy.
At home here in her native Hong Kong, she is a HK mom and a passionate supporter of the Mulberry Tree method. She is happy to answer any questions you might have!
Harry, named after "Harry Potter" is our resident canine. He is friendly and lovable, most often seen playing with the children during outdoor play time. He loves to eat, getting petted, and running around with his tongue out. He warmly invites you to come visit us and show him some love!
Classroom Pet Facilitator
Shelley, a red slider neck turtle is our newest class pet who joined us in 2018. She was given to us by a trusting family who has just relocated back to the UK. Our students take full responsibility over Shelley’s care which includes feeding her daily and giving her baths. Shelley enjoys taking walks in our outdoor area and she loves to sunbathe, too!
